Our Priorities
Our current city council has accomplished a great deal, and I am proud of them, but there is more to do. I would push our city government to address every day needs and prioritize being responsive. As a City Councilmember, I would:
Create More Community Spaces
Let’s build on the great success of our new community center to meet additional needs. Burlingame needs an indoor exercise facility for adults and teenages as well as a performing arts center.
Better Transit Options
Burlingame needs direct transit service to our downtown from the Millbrae BART, as well as better transit for middle school and high school students who commute across town to their respective schools
Commit to Mills Canyon Fire Safety
2025 taught us that fire safety remains a serious risk for everyone in California. Mills Canyon is a treasure for our City, but we must protect it and the homes nearby it. While we already perform “fuel reduction” in the canyon, many dead trees remain and pose a risk.
